The R53S model has been developed with both the environment and the end user in mind. There is a choice of three ways to dispose of your grass clippings - rear collection, side discharge and recycling. The recycling feature helps to maintain a healthy and green lawn by re-circulating the grass clippings into a fine mulch and then returning them back into the lawn, where they rapidly decompose, putting nutrients back into the soil. It is fitted with an electric start Briggs and Stratton 'ReadyStart' engine and is propelled by the unique 'Sens-a-Speed' variable speed transmission that allows the mower to automatically adapt to your walking pace, from 0 to 4.7mph. Foot operated 'Quick Storage' facility for easy compact storage. Handlebars can easily be adjusted to different heights to suit the operator. Full width OPC (Operator Presence Control) with soft grip for added comfort. Cutting height range from 25mm to 114mm. Independent height of cut levers mounted on each wheel. Large capacity grassbag that can be lifted through the handlebars for easy emptying.
